In 2016, I was delighted to join the team who worked on the twelfth edition of the top-selling Rough Guide to Australia.

I covered coastal Queensland, which gave me the chance to drive north from Brisbane all the way to Cairns and beyond, and explore the Great Barrier Reef.

I took the photo below on the amazing Seventy-Five Mile Beach, which stretches down the full length of the east coast of Fraser Island.
